Who We Are

Who We Are

The church of Christ is a group of people who have formed a congregation like those described in the New Testament.

We are simply Christians, followers of Christ. We are members of a church that is said to be "of Christ". We do not wear any designation not found in scripture, and we do not subscribe to any man-made creeds. We are nondenominational.

Christ is our Lord, and the Bible is our only guide.

We are your neighbors, your co-workers, and your fellow students. We are Christians who desire that all people be saved, just as God does (2 Peter 3:9).

We are striving to follow the pattern found in the New Testament in how to become Christians - to believe in God (have faith), turn away from sin (repent), confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and be baptized in the name of Christ for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38; 22:16).

We will follow the Bible pattern in what we teach and what we do. We will humbly speak where the Bible speaks and will remain silent where the Bible is silent. Harder than it sounds! But that is why we continually study God's Word, to come to a better knowledge of His will for us.

We would love to have you join us at every opportunity.
